Cesar (b. 1994) is a San Diego-based artist specializing in acrylic paintings on canvas and rigid wood panels. His aesthetic is defined by a rigorous commitment to hard-edge abstraction, exploring how vibrant pigments interact within strict geometric frameworks to alter the viewer's perception of space and energy.
His dedication to this specific visual path crystallized in April 2026 with his inaugural work, Slits. The creation of this foundational piece established a natural, fluid methodology for the artist, allowing complex geometric structures to emerge organically from his studio process.
Operating outside the traditional academic art path, Cesar brings an uncompromised, intuitive perspective to modern abstraction. Looking forward, he intends to expand his practice through formal studies in color mechanics and historical art movements, continuously sharpening the conceptual edge of his geometric landscapes.
